(1899-1978), Sprinter; Olympian

Harold Maurice Abrahams

Sitter in 5 portraits
Won gold in the 100 metres sprint at the 1924 Paris Olympics. This is depicted in the Academy Award winning film Chariots of Fire (1981). He also won silver in the men's 4 x 100 metres relay at the same games. His older brother Sidney was also an Olympic athlete and competed in the 1912 Stockholm games.
