Actress and singer. Appeared as the blonde would-be fashion model in Antonioni's Blow Up (1966). After Birkin's first marriage to composer John Barry ended, she married French singer-provocateur Serge Gainsbourg in 1968. Together they recorded Je T'Aime...Moi Non Plus (1969).
