Jacqueline Bisset

Bisset was born in Weybridge, Surrey to an English father and a half-French mother. Her first professional acting role was in The Knack (1965) and a year later she landed her first speaking-role in Cul-de-sac (1966). In 1968 she had her most notable early role playing opposite Steve McQueen in the action thriller Bullit (1968). In the same year she appeared opposite Frank Sinatra in The Detective (1968). In 1974 she starred with Albert Finney in Murder on the Orient Express. Her French films include La Cérémonie (1995) for which she was nominated for a César Award.
