Janet McTeer

The acclaimed stage actress, McTeer played Vita Sackville-West in a television adaptation of Portrait of a Marriage (1990) and made her film debut in Half Moon Street (1986). Appeared in Wuthering Heights (1992) and as Vanessa Bell in Carrington (1995). Her role in the 1999 American film Tumbleweeds earned her a Best Actress Oscar nomination and a Best Actress Golden Globe. On stage won a Tony Award in 1997 for her roles as Nora in Ibsen's A Doll's House. McTeer has also played a leading role in Songcatcher (1999) and the Dogme film The King is Alive (2000).
